Fibermedia delivers reliable and efficient power throughout its data center network.
FiberMedia has one of the most reliable and efficient network of data centers in the New York region. This distribution of power enables every data center to support your growing demand for high-power, high-density solutions.
FiberMedia utilizes several energy usage tracking models including Power Usage Effectiveness (PUE) and its reciprocal, Data Center Infrastructure Efficiency (DCiE) metrics. These models enable us to quickly estimate the infrastructure energy efficiency of our data centers, compare and determine the benefits of energy efficiency improvements within our as-built models and real-time effectiveness.
We then use the latest systems to achieve the correct levels of temperature and humidity throughout our centers, ensuring your equipment runs at maximum efficiency.
Every FiberMedia data center features:
- Uninterruptible, fully-conditioned electrical power at minimum N+1 /99.999 service levels.
- As much as 2000 amps at 480 volts connected.
- Minimum of 150 watts per square foot fed by two separate power grids.
- Backup from multiple diesel generators with automatic transfer, with each generator connected to a 72-hour capable fuel tank supplied by a preferential fuel contract.
- Redundant UPS AC power backup at 480 volts with by-pass switch and surge suppression.
- DC electrical plants @ 48v with A/B feeds (available at Secaucus & Jersey City Locations)
FiberMedia will continue to utilize best practices, industry standards and monitor power, cooling and technology improvements to provide you with the most reliable, effective and efficient data centers.
