FiberMedia was founded by CEO Michael Roark and grew from his prolific group of design/build/development companies that have constructed over six hundred projects the past twenty-five years including industrial, telecommunication and medical facilities, buildings, commercial offices, and public works projects. The design/build arm of FiberMedia continues to design, develop and construct data centers.
“Our name “FiberMedia” came from the intentional combination of two complementary words. “Fiber” refers not only to the optical pathways that allow the transport of information at super-speeds, but also to its meaning as the essential core linear structures that bind and strengthen assemblies. The word “Media” is used to mean the format for the presentation of information. FiberMedia is named for what we do — provide the structures and formats to receive, process, organize, store and deliver information at the speed of light.”
